Sponsored Research
Impact Allies leads federally funded research and workforce development initiatives aligned to national priorities. We operate as an independent sponsored research office—designing, securing, and managing projects that connect technological education, training, and employment (i.e. workforce development).
We focus on critical and emerging technology sectors across land, sea, air, and space—where technical advancement and workforce capability must move together:
- Energy and industrial electrification
- Autonomous and robotic systems
- Artificial intelligence and data systems
- Cyber-physical systems and smart infrastructure
Secondarily, we serve the broader science and engineering enterprise by research, process and tool development, and professional development of faculty and educational institutions to effectively advance their abilities to identify, win and deliver on critical government and industry funding matching their strategic plans, resources, and regional partners.
